23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Recap: Mike Evans is amazing and Chris Godwin is great too. Offensively, that is about all you can hang your hat on. Jameis Winston is in the argument for one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL and when he is right (rarely) it gets praised as trusting his receivers, but honestly it is just bad, reckless football.

Outlook: The Bucs are going to move on from Jameis Winston after the season, or at least the obviously should. The only question is whether that move comes with some big trades to build up capital to go get their real QB of the future, or whether the Bucs mess around and try to just take anything better than what they have.

While they should be desperately clinging to the WRs on that roster, it does make a little bit of sense to try to move on if you get a great deal, if that means that you can move up for a real QB in the 2020 NFL Draft.

While the Bucs started at the same place the Titans did five years ago, the difference is that Jon Robinson has consistently hit on his draft picks for the Titans, while Tampa Bay’s front office has spent their picks on kickers and busts.
