There were three big takeaways from the Tennessee Titans Week 8 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Tennessee Titans came away with a close 27-23 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their Week 8 matchup inside Nissan Stadium.

Although Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans was undoubtedly the best player on the field on Sunday as he single-handedly kept this game a lot closer than it needed to be, new Titans starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill produced three touchdown passes that were just enough to give his team the edge on the day.

Not to be mistaken, Tannehill had his fair share of struggles throughout the day as well. There were several of throws that he missed that could have been game-changing had he completed them.

However, he also made his fair share of great throws as well. A lot of the struggles could be put on the revolving door that the offensive line was in Week 8 due to injuries, as well as questionable play-calling.

Nonetheless, the Titans found a way to pull out a nail-biting four-point victory in order to get themselves to 4-4 as they get ready to head into the second half of the season. This article is going to take a closer look at three of my biggest takeaways following the Titans’ exhilarating victory over the Buccaneers.
