Jonnu Smith has an opportunity to thrive Titans

Tennessee’s third-year tight end out of Florida International made some great plays for the Titans in the win against the Chargers.

Smith recorded three receptions on three targets for 64 yards against Los Angeles.

One of his biggest plays in the game was a 35-yard reception early in the third quarter.  In that play, Smith caught a crossing route across the middle of the field and broke multiple tackles to gain a first down, and much more.

Smith hasn’t reached the endzone yet this season, but he has made some big plays that have resulted in first downs for the Titans.

This week, Smith has an opportunity to have a big impact on the offense because veteran tight end Delanie Walker has been ruled out of the game due to an injury.

This gives him a great chance to shine and get a higher number of receptions in the game.

I fully expect Jonnu Smith to play one of his best games of the season this week against the Buccaneers, and I expect him to reach the end zone for the first time this season.
