Ryan Tannehill brings new energy to the offense

Tennessee’s offense looked much improved with Ryan Tannehill leading the way.  The offensive line looked much better in pass protection.  In the game against the Chargers, Tannehill was only sacked two times in the entire game.  That is two less than against the Denver Broncos when he was sacked four times in under two quarters.

Tannehill played very well in Tennessee’s close win over Los Angeles.  He went 23-of-29 and threw for 312 yards and two touchdowns in the game.  The Titans running game didn’t look bad either, as the rush attack put up 97 yards against the Chargers defense.

Tannehill made multiple great throws in the win.

One of his two touchdowns went to Tajae Sharpe in the very back of the end zone after he stepped up in the pocket and found the open Sharpe for six points.

Tannehill did have a small hiccup early in the game when he muffed the snap from center Ben Jones, but after that mistake, he managed to keep the exchanges clean for the remainder of the game.

He finished the game with a quarterback rating of 120.1.

Going forward as the starter, Tannehill brings an ability to make big throws and to bring some extra energy to the offense that didn’t seem to be there before.
