Tennessee Titans: 3 factors from Week 7 that will help in Week 8
By Brian Akins
Here are three factors from the Tennessee Titans’ Week 7 game that will help them against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 8.
The Tennessee Titans played one of their most complete games of the season in Week 7 since their blowout win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 1. Despite having to make four straight goal-line stands late in the fourth quarter, the Titans showed marked improvements at multiple positions.
Tennessee played much better across the board compared to previous games. To start, Ryan Tannehill was only sacked two times in the game. Last week against the Denver Broncos, Tannehill only played part of the game and he was sacked four times.
On the defensive side of the ball, Tennessee had two sacks, one forced (and recovered) fumble that won the game and allowed a season-low 39 yards rushing in the game.
Those improvements will help the Titans going forward this season.
