Tennessee Titans vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Predictions for Week 8
Will Lomas (Co-expert)
The Tennessee Titans seemingly turned a corner on offense last week. While there is still a chance that they will regress at the slightest hint of an obstacle, I don’t think that this week is a week where they have to worry about that.
For the first time in over a decade, Tennessee has two wide receivers that seem capable of taking over a game if they need to. A.J. Brown is on pace for the best rookie year for a receiver in franchise history, while Corey Davis continues to be someone that gets progressively better the more volume he sees.
Getting the ball moving on the ground will be difficult, but luckily this is the prefect defense to be forced to pass against. Speaking of defense, let’s talk about Tennessee’s defense.Despite just one sack last week, Philip Rivers was under relentless pressure and Harold Landry especially was a terror off the edge. Well, he and that 98 guy, does anyone now his name?
All jokes aside it seems like the Titans will have Jayon Brown back, though it seems they will be without Adoree Jackson. With that in mind you have to be very concerned about Chris Godwin or Mike Evans coming up with the huge play.
Give me the Titans in this one with the MMCNB crew making a few plays to flip the field and give Tennessee a chance to get some easy points.
Final score prediction: Titans 31, Buccaneers 14
