The Tennessee Titans will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a Week 8 matchup that will take place at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

After a win in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Chargers, and with a new quarterback at the helm, the Tennessee Titans are rolling into Week 8 with a head of steam, hoping to finally get a winning streak going.

In their way stands the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team coming off a bye following a bad Week 6 loss in London to the Carolina Panthers.

Prior to the start of this season, many had this game circled on their calendar. It pitted the No. 1 and No. 2 overall picks of the 2015 NFL Draft against one another, both of whom entered the season with a lot of uncertainty thanks to neither getting their contracts extended.

The only problem with that storyline now is that one of those quarterbacks, Marcus Mariota, has been replaced as the starter by Ryan Tannehill.

The No. 1 overall pick from that year, Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston, is still his team’s starter, but is on thin ice after continuing to regress in 2019. His latest disappointing effort was a six-turnover performance in Week 6.

The last time these two teams met was in 2015, right after Winston and Mariota were drafted. The Titans ended up winning in blowout fashion.

With the matchup between the Titans and Bucs set to take place on Sunday, here’s a look at what our staff thinks will happen in Week 8.
