Concern: Bucs’ pass-rush

At this point, any opposing team’s pass-rush is a concern for a Titans offensive line that has surrendered a league-leading 31 sacks, which just so happens to be five more than the next closest team, the New York Jets.

The Bucs’ pass-rush doesn’t look particularly scary based on the numbers, as Tampa Bay has totaled just 13 sacks this season. However, when you consider the struggles of the interior offensive line of the Titans, there is some concern to be had here.

The Titans will have to deal with a defensive line consisting of Vita Vea, a big but athletic nose tackle, Ndamukong Suh and William Gholston. Based on what we’ve seen backups do to the O-line this season, any one of these three can wreck a game against the Titans.

Also add in the fact that outside linebacker Shaquil Barrett is having a career season on the edge and it’s clear there are plenty of avenues for the Titans’ offensive line to get beat badly. Thankfully for Tennessee, Tannehill did a good job getting rid of the ball quickly last week, which should alleviate some of the issues this O-line is having.
