There are reasons for both optimism and concern for the Tennessee Titans against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 8.

The Tennessee Titans (3-4) will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-4) at Nissan Stadium in Week 8, and there are reasons for both optimism and concern for the Titans going into this game.

The Titans are coming off a heart-pounding victory in Week 7 over the Los Angeles Chargers in a game that saw Tennessee’s defense make a last-second goal line stand to emerge victorious.

The Bucs come into this game off a bye, but before that they were trounced in London by the Carolina Panthers after quarterback Jameis Winston struggled mightily en route to six turnovers in the losing effort.

One of the more interesting storylines we thought would unfold in this game would be the top two picks from the 2015 NFL Draft squaring off against one another, however that won’t be happening now with quarterback Marcus Mariota being benched for Ryan Tannehill.

Winston is having his own issues, though. He continues to regress this season and it looks as though he might not have a job in Tampa Bay after this season with the franchise making him play out the last year of his rookie deal.

This is certainly a winnable game for the Titans because of the reasons for optimism, however there are also some concerns that could send the result the other way.
