A right tackle

Dennis Kelly and Jack Conklin are both going to be free agents this year and both want to be the starting tackle for the Tennessee Titans… or another team.

Before you are (incorrectly) critical of another team wanting either of those guys, let me throw out the name of some tackles who have played 300 or more snaps this season.

J’Marcus Webb

-Cam Erving

Rob Havenstein

Charles Leno

Chris Hubbard

The list goes on, but the point is that there are some BAD tackles right now and the tackles have two above average right tackles and I think Conklin is more than that.

If a team wants to get a look at a right tackle that they would potentially sign as a free agent, giving up a pick to do that makes a ton of sense. Those massive tackle contracts are hard to get out of quickly and knowing whether a guy has what you are looking for or not after getting first hand experience would be a huge benefit if you could afford it.
