Tight End: B

With Delanie Walker active but sidelined with a re-occurring ankle issue, Jonnu Smith got the start at tight end. For the most part, Smith had a pretty good game. He made an amazing play on a third-and-14 early in the 3rd quarter, where he took a short pass from Tannehill, and turned it into a 35-yard gain.

However, he got hit with a holding call a few plays later that ended up stalling out the drive.

On the next drive, he allowed Uchenna Nwosu to get to Tannehill as he was throwing, which caused the aforementioned interception.

Smith finished with three catches for 64 yards, but was a liability in pass protection.

Anthony Firsker made an amazing catch that went for 27 yards. It looked like Tannehill was throwing it to Smith, though he claims the pass was intended for Firkser.

Either way, it was a big play, and helped set up the go-ahead touchdown.

In Walker’s absence, Smith and FIrkser both made plays that helped contribute to the win.
