The Tennessee Titans survived a close game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Tennessee Titans finally found a way to win a close game against a tough opponent.

Jurrell Casey recovered a Melvin Gordon fumble with 19 seconds remaining to seal a 23-20 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, a team they had beaten just once in the twelve previous meetings between these two teams.

It was by no means an easy task, as the Chargers boasted a lot of weapons offensively, with the likes of running back Austin Ekeler and tight end Hunter Henry having big games through the air.

But the Titans, despite missing key starters Delanie Walker (who was active but not playing due to an ankle injury) and Jayon Brown (inactive with a groin injury), as well as starting Ryan Tannehill for the first time, found a way to overcome two early lengthy drives by the Chargers in the first half, tying the game at 10 just shortly before halftime.

In the second half, the Titans dominated time of possession, finishing with a 32:15 to 27:45 advantage, and in the end, the Titans were able to prevail over the Chargers.

The Titans improved to 3-4 on the season, while the Chargers fell to 2-5.

Here’s how the Titans graded out at each position in the win against the Chargers.
