Loser: Dennis Kelly, RT/Winner: Jack Conklin, RT

Like I said, it was hard to pick out losers this week and it doesn’t help when you are alright for most of the game but get beaten by one of the best in the game in Joey Bosa.

As a run blocker, I think Kelly can do some nice things, but the big problem is when he has to be on an island because it puts so much stress on him to keep his long body in good position.

While he doesn’t usually give up an easy sack or anything like that, if a quick EDGE gets to his 3rd step at full speed, then he has trouble really affecting their rush and preventing them from taking that corner.

His length does help him keep stronger defenders at bay or to fight off counter moves, but the drop off from Jack Conklin to Dennis Kelly was bigger than many expected before the season which says a lot about Conklin.
