What did we learn from the Tennessee Titans’ Week 7 win over the Los Angeles Chargers?

There was a lot of good from the Tennessee Titans’ Week 7 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, and we certainly learned some things about this team.

Sunday was the first start for Ryan Tannehill as the Titans’ quarterback, and the review for his performance was overwhelmingly positive. The Titans offense moved the ball better than it had in weeks and Tennessee was able to put 23 points on the board en route to victory.

The defense had a bit of a letdown game, but still only allowed 20 points. Only a defense that has set such a high standard like Tennessee’s could allow 20 points and have that be considered a letdown game.

With the win, the Titans averted the certain disaster of dropping to 2-5, and now have some hope at 3-4 and with a new quarterback at the helm who showed out in his starting debut.

Before we start to look ahead in the coming days to the Week 8 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, let’s look back at what we learned from the Week 7 win against the Chargers.
