There were three big takeaways from the Tennessee Titans Week 7 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Tennessee Titans got back in the win column following a nail-biting 23-20 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers inside Nissan stadium on Sunday afternoon. The victory gave the Titans a pulse on their 2019 season as they moved to a semi-respectable record of 3-4. The Titans needed every inch of the football field to put this game away.

The Titans defense once again came up big when it mattered most by causing a game-sealing turnover on the goal line when all hope of a victory had seemed lost. Tennessee received significant contributions from their usual play-makers such as Kevin Byard, Logan Ryan, Jurrell Casey, etc.

New additions to the the starting lineup like quarterback Ryan Tannehill and first-round pick, defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, made their presence felt in their two-tone blue debut. Although it’s only one game, Tannehill showed that he was going to do everything within his power to make the most of this new opportunity in Tennessee to revitalize his career as a starting quarterback in the National Football League.

There is still plenty of work to do and improvements to make if this team is going to salvage the 2019 season. Nevertheless, this article is going to take a closer look at three of my biggest takeaways following an exhilarating 23-20 victory over the Chargers.
