27. Los Angeles Chargers (2-5)

Recap: As if things couldn’t get any worse for the Los Angeles Chargers, they found a way to sink even deeper in a Week 7 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Not only did the Chargers allow the Titans’ seemingly inept offense to score 23 points and grab a two-score lead in the fourth quarter, but LA also failed in a late comeback bid with four cracks at a go-ahead touchdown inside the five-yard line at the end of regulation. Melvin Gordon‘s fumble at the goal line sealed the Chargers’ fate and sunk this struggling bunch even further into the depths of disappointment.

Outlook: It’s clear this Chargers team simply isn’t good enough to overcome the slew of injuries it has faced this season. As the season moves along, the Chargers should get some of their key players back, but it might be too late by then for them to make a run at the playoffs. Los Angeles must hit the road again next week to take on the Chicago Bears in Week 8.
