17. Philadelphia Eagles (3-4)

Recap: The Philadelphia Eagles had a chance to grab supremacy in the NFC East in Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys, but instead Doug Pederson’s squad showed it has some ways to go before we can crown it the division’s best. Philly went into Dallas and got absolutely smoked by the Cowboys. Carson Wentz struggled mightily with three turnovers and less than 200 yards through the air, and the Eagles defense once again showed its warts and allowed 37 points. It was an embarrassing effort for Philadelphia in such an important game.

Outlook: The loss puts the Eagles in second place in the NFC East after seven games and on track for a disappointing season if they can’t get their act together on both sides of the ball. A team once thought to possibly be Super Bowl-worthy is now struggling to get a playoff spot. Things don’t get any easier for the Eagles in Week 8, as a road matchup with the 5-1 Buffalo Bills awaits.
