18. Oakland Raiders (3-3)

Recap: The Oakland Raiders were coming off their bye and riding high after a huge Week 5 win over the Chicago Bears, however Jon Gruden’s group couldn’t carry that into Week 7. The Raiders were hanging around for much of the first half, but a brutal fumble near the goal line by Derek Carr that went through the end zone for a touchback totally shifted the momentum in Green Bay’s favor. From there, the rout was on and Aaron Rodgers was dropping dimes all over a lost Raiders defense.

Outlook: The Raiders continue to be competitive most weeks and have gotten off to a better start than anyone could have imagined given the turmoil the team faced with Antonio Brown prior to the start of the season. Despite the blowout loss, the Raiders remain in the playoff hunt. Things don’t get any easier next week for Oakland, as it must travel to Houston to take on the Texans in Week 8.
