19. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-4)
Recap: The Jacksonville Jaguars got all they could handle against the lowly Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8. Jacksonville was actually trailing 10-9 going into the fourth quarter, however Gardner Minshew and Co. were able to pull away late. Following a Minshew touchdown pass to start the fourth quarter, the Jaguars defense stepped up and picked off a pass from Andy Dalton, taking it to the house. The Jags would tack on another field goal to secure the win over the Bengals.
Outlook: The Jaguars were able to take care of business against a lesser opponent on Sunday, breaking a two-game losing streak in the process. With Nick Foles’ return getting closer and closer, Minshew continues to show why the Jags shouldn’t go back to their original starter. A decision will have to be made there soon. Before that, the Jags have a meeting with the New York Jets in Week 8.
