A quarterback change for the Tennessee Titans helped spark them to victory in Week 7 over the Los Angeles Chargers, propeling them up in the NFL Power Rankings for Week 8.

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel was looking for a spark and Ryan Tannehill provided it in a winning effort, which sends the Titans up the NFL Power Rankings for Week 8.

Tannehill replaced the benched Marcus Mariota in Week 6 and was given the starting job in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Tannehill ran with the opportunity, completing 23-of-29 passes for 312 yards and two touchdowns to one pick.

Despite owning a two-score lead late over the Chargers, the Titans almost blew it and needed a goal line stand at the end of regulation in order to come away with their first home win of the 2019 season.

While the Titans have bounced back from rock bottom after getting shut out in Week 6, the injury-ravaged Chargers continue to shoot themselves in the foot and are in a deep hole that they might not be able to climb out of.

So, where do the Chargers and Titans, along with the rest of the teams in the league, stand after the action of Week 7?

Let’s find out.
