3. TE O.J. Howard (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
Tight end might not seem like a need for the Titans, but Delanie Walker‘s ankle issues from last season seem to be flaring up again, as he missed practice on Friday after being limited Wednesday and Thursday due to it. Jonnu Smith, while occasionally making big plays, has been relatively underwhelming this season.
It might be worth going after O.J. Howard, who has been relatively underutilized in Tampa Bay. He has only been targeted 18 times in six games, not surprising considering the plethora of talent at the wide receiver position, and the fact that his fellow tight end Cameron Brate is still a very good player in his own right.
The only issue with trading for Howard is the fact that the Titans would likely have to trade a high-to-mid round pick for him, which most people see as detrimental towards the Titans possibly drafting a quarterback next year.
Howard could be worth it, but If the Titans think the price is too steep on Howard, they could target Brate instead.
