The Ryan Tannehill era begins in Tennessee as they face off against the Los Angeles Chargers for their Week 7 matchup inside Nissan Stadium.

No one is mistaking the former Miami Dolphins quarterback for an elite quarterback or anything, however, a legitimate argument can be made that he has historically been better throughout his career than the Marcus Mariota we have seen since the former Heisman winner broke his leg.

As long as the former Texas A&M star can simply manage a game, he will likely be an improvement from the lackluster production at QB that the Titans have seen for the majority of 2019.

I expect another strong showing from the defense as they get a significant boost to their already stout unit with the long awaited addition of their first round pick Jeffery Simmons. I believe Tannehill does just enough offensively to compliment another strong performance from the defense.

Prediction: Titans 16, Chargers 14
