Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker could miss Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

When Ryan Tannehill makes his first start with the Tennessee Titans this Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, he could be without one of the top passing targets on the team.

Tight end Delanie Walker missed practice on Friday after being a limited participant on Wednesday and Thursday, and is officially listed as “questionable” for Sunday.

He is dealing with an ankle injury, and we can only hope that it doesn’t stem from his ankle dislocation from last year that kept him out for the majority of the 2018 campaign.

Turron Davenport believes Walker will play on Sunday.

Walker has been dealing with an issue with his knee in recent weeks, but has yet to miss a game.

Should he be unavailable on Sunday, expect Jonnu Smith, MyCole Pruitt, and Anthony Firkser to have increased roles in the offense.

In other injury news, Jayon Brown (groin) was a limited participant in practice on Friday, getting in some individual work with coach Mike Vrabel, along with Cameron Wake (hamstring)

Brown did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday, and despite being on the field Friday, he’s listed as “doubtful”. He suffered the injury early in last week’s 16-0 loss to the Broncos.

If Brown is unable to go, expect team captain Wesley Woodyard to start in his absence.

Wake  is listed as “questionable” for Sunday after being limited in practice Thursday and Friday. Wake missed last week’s game, and if he’s unable to go, Kamalei Correa will once again start in his place.

Sharif Finch (shoulder) did not practice at all this week, and for the second game in a row is listed as “out”.

Jack Conklin (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday, but was a full participant on Thursday and Friday, and looks to be good to go.

Jurrell Casey (shoulder) was limited Wednesday and Thursday, but practiced in full on Friday, and he is also expected to play.

Reggie Gilbert (knee) was limited on Friday, and is listed as “questionable”.

Rodger Saffold (back) was limited on Friday as well, but will play on Sunday.
