Corey Davis: Sit

While I think Davis’ stock is going up with the quarterback change in Tennessee, I’m not sure I like this matchup enough to start Davis in Week 7. If you have to start him, the silver lining is that Davis caught all three of his Week 6 receptions for 36 yards in the last two quarters Tannehill was in the game.

However, the Chargers have been stingy against receivers in fantasy. Los Angeles is tied for the seventh-fewest points allowed per game to the position (and coincidentally, are tied with the Titans) this season.

Furthermore, the Chargers are allowing just 201.2 passing yards per game, good enough for fifth best in the NFL. For a guy like Davis, who has been struggling for fantasy production all season, this simply isn’t a spot in which you can trust him. You’re better served waiting for next week when he has a better matchup, if you can afford to wait that long.
