Once a promising potential franchise quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings, the former 32nd overall draft pick in the 2014 NFL Draft has had a turbulent career in the NFL to say the very least.

After showing flashes his first two seasons in the NFL, Bridgewater, the 2014 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year, suffered a catastrophic knee injury in 2016, missing the entire season and putting his career in jeopardy.

He returned in 2017 as the backup to Case Keenum, who lead the Vikings to the NFC Championship Game that year.

Bridgewater was then signed by the Jets the next offseason, but was subsequently traded to the New Orleans Saints, where he has been ever since.

Recently, he got another chance to be the starter with an injury to Drew Brees, and he’s done a pretty good job. In four starts (five total games), Bridgewater has gone 109-of-157 for 1,089 yards, seven touchdowns, and just two interceptions, including a four-touchdown performance against the rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5.

Bridgewater, who turns 27 in November, is in the final year of his contract, and while there is the possibility that the Saints could re-sign him, he could opt to find a situation where he could be a franchise quarterback.

If the Titans decide not to draft a quarterback in 2020, Bridgewater could be a good option.
