With Marcus Mariota and Ryan Tannehill both free agents after this season, the Titans will be in the market for a quarterback in the offseason.

The Marcus Mariota era in Tennessee is all but over. With the announcement that Ryan Tannehill will be the starter for the Titans moving forward, Mariota likely will not be retained in the offseason.

Tannehill is also in the final year of his contract, and unless he is outstanding over the final ten games of the season, it’s not likely that he will be re-signed either.

With that in mind, the Titans currently do not have a quarterback under contract past this season, and will undoubtedly be looking to pick up a quarterback in 2020.

While the quarterback pool in the NFL draft is the strongest its been in years, there are also a lot of options in free agency as well.

There are a few guys who could be stop-gap starters for next year if the Titans choose to allow their presumed rookie quarterback to sit and develop next season. There’s even the chance that the Titans don’t draft a quarterback at all. The latter is highly unlikely, but possible.

Even trading for a quarterback is an option for the team.

The Titans options at quarterback for the 2020 season are definitely vast.
