The Titans have a few reasons for optimism and concern as they face the Chargers in a must-win game

The Tennessee Titans are coming fresh off of their worst performance of the season in a shutout loss to the Denver Broncos. It was a game where the Titans saw their starting quarterback Marcus Mariota get benched and star running back Derrick Henry get held for 28 yards of rushing.

While there might not be much positivity coming from the Titans this week, they have some good luck in facing the reeling Los Angeles Chargers, a team also coming off an embarrassing Sunday loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Chargers have had a surprisingly strong defense despite missing safety Derwin James in the secondary. The defensive front spearheaded by Joey Bosa has the potential to wreak havoc against a leaky Titans offensive line that has yet to gel together.

While the Chargers defense seems to have played well, their offense has struggled mightily. Philip Rivers and Co. gave up the ball three times against the Steelers. The sensational Titans defense can really shut down the Chargers offense to keep this a low-scoring game.

I believe there a few reasons for both optimism and concern against the Chargers this week, starting with the change at QB.
