ESPN’s Tennessee Titans trade suggestion pushes me down the rabbit hole

Finding the perfect trade partner for Dion Lewis and the Titans.

Do you know who has the most draft picks in the 2020 NFL Draft? The Miami Dolphins.

I LOVE the idea of a trade with the Dolphins, and I think they would like it too when I explain a little bit about how this could work.

First of all, the Miami Dolphins seem to have an interest in keeping pass catching back Kenyan Drake, but his name keeps popping up in trade talks. One of those leaks is from the agent and the other is from the team, and I bet the rumor that he is on the trade block is coming from Drake’s camp.

With Drake’s contract expiring this season and a potential lack of interest in returning, why not swap running backs with the Dolphins?

The Tennessee Titans can get Kenyan Drake and the Dolphins get a receiving back who looked good outside of the Titans offense (as so many do) and who still has a year left on his contract that can be negotiated to a more reasonable rate or maybe the Titans could even eat some of that cap.

Maybe to do that the Titans get a late round pick, maybe even as high as the 5th round since the Dolphins have three of those (their pick, Steelers, and a comp for Cameron Wake interestingly enough).
