4. Cincinnati Bengals

Andy Dalton has been the starting quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals for the better part of nine seasons. It’s looking more and more every game like this will be his final season in the orange and black.

According to Sportrac, Dalton has no more guaranteed money left on his contract, meaning the Bengals can literally cut ties with him at any time between now and the end of his contract with zero dead money involved.

The Bengals are currently projected to draft second overall immediately after the Miami Dolphins based on record (with strength of schedule being used as the tiebreaker), and pretty much would be able to select whatever quarterback the Dolphins don’t select (assuming the Dolphins pick a quarterback).

That being said, the Bengals, like the Dolphins, have so many different needs that there is no actual guarantee that they will draft a quarterback.

Even then, Marcus Mariota would be a better backup option than the likes of Ryan Finley and Jake Dolegala.
