1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Jameis Winston, the quarterback selected immediately before Mariota in the 2015 NFL Draft, hasn’t exactly had an impressive tenure with the Buccaneers.

He too is in the final year of his rookie contract, and coming off of a five interception performance against the division rival Carolina Panthers, things just look to be going from bad to worse for his chances of landing an extension.

This could be a great fit for Marcus Mariota for many different reasons, including playing under head coach Bruce Arians, who has done wonders for the likes of Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, Andrew Luck, and Carson Palmer.

As of today, the Buccaneers are currently slated to pick 13th in the 2020 NFL draft, with several teams in need of a quarterback sitting in front of them. While they still could draft a quarterback within the first two rounds, having Mariota at least as a backup would be a huge upgrade over Ryan Griffin, who is projected to be the only quarterback under contract for Tampa Bay heading into the 2020 season.
