With his future with the Tennessee Titans now in doubt, Marcus Mariota has some options are far as where he could end up next year.

Marcus Mariota’s future with the Tennessee Titans is not looking very promising, to say the very least.

On Tuesday night, it was reported that the Titans would be starting Ryan Tannehill in their Week 7 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Mariota is in the fifth and final year of his rookie contract, and now that he has been supplanted by Tannehill and is no longer the starter, it is all but inevitable that he will hit the open market in 2020, barring something spectacular.

Looking towards the 2020 season, there are a lot of teams in the market for a quarterback, whether a franchise quarterback, a starter to tide them over until the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes begins in 2021, or a viable backup to their current or future starter.

Mariota has proven at the very least that he belongs in the league, and is definitely deserving of at least an opportunity to be a backup quarterback somewhere in the future.

There are at least five teams that could possibly enlist the services of Mariota, whether as a starter or a backup in 2020.
