Tennessee Titans: Winners and Losers after a bad Week 6
By Will Lomas

Winner: Kevin Byard
Going from a player I feel bad for because of the circumstances to player I feel happy for despite the circumstances, Kevin Byard is the best safety in the NFL.
For those of you who could stomach yesterday’s game from start to finish, you got to see one of the most impressive displays of the ability to stay calm and make a play out of the randomness when Joe Flacco threw Byard an interception.
Go back and watch the play, but the best way I can summarize it is that Flacco threw a deep fade to Noah Fant. The tight end seemingly lost the ball in the sun and ended up overrunning the pass, so the ball actually bounced off of his back and Kevin Byard (who was in coverage underneath) grabbed it like Marc Gasol pulling down a rebound.
Then he just calmly reversed field and started his return.
It was one of the stranger interceptions I have ever seen, but to see Kevin Byard it looked as though he had done it a million times.
Since the start of 2017, only 6 players have 10+ interceptions:
