What we learned about the Tennessee Titans from a terrible Week 6.

The Tennessee Titans were in the thick of the AFC playoff race yesterday morning, but right now fans should be more concerned about April than January.

If you didn’t know, the Titans benched Marcus Mariota halfway through yesterday’s game against the Denver Broncos in favor of Ryan Tannehill who also managed to put up 0 points as Tennessee was shut out for the first time this season.

Like every loss, some people looked good but many people looked bad and that obviously extends to off the field as well. The players were the ones making the mistakes and failing to execute, but they aren’t the only people to blame obviously.

The season no longer matter for the Titans unless you think that they have a chance of going 8-2 down the stretch with Indianapolis, Houston (twice), Kansas City, and New Orleans all still on the schedule.

After being so close to success for three season in a row, it is time to get comfortable with losing and embrace the idea of tanking and change.
