NFL Power Rankings Week 7: Titans collapse and bench Marcus Mariota

Pros: Against the anemic Atlanta Falcons defense, the Cardinals offense looked really good. Kyler Murray spread the ball around and although no one had a great statline, having three targets with over 60 yards receiving is a nice feather in the cap of a QB.

Cons: You may notice that the Cards didn’t move up or down on this list. That is because I have learned not to trust what the Falcons allow on defense. So, if there was a going to be something that I could take away from this game it was going to be the Cardinals defense.

Unfortunately, the defense allowed the Falcons to comeback and almost rally all the way back to force overtime if not for the missed XP at the end of the game.

So, you have an offense that can beat a bad defense and a defense that got carved up by an average Atlanta offense. To me that probably is more of a negative day than a positive day, but a win is a win so I let it even out.
