. . Previous: 7th. San Francisco 49ers. 2. team. 42

Pros: Raise your hand if your favorite team has a tight end better than George Kittle. If you raised your hand you are a filthy liar.

Not only is Kittle the best receiving TE in the NFL, he is one of the best “dual threat” tight ends in the NFL being able to help deal with linebackers and EDGEs when the play calls for it.

It is hard to keep track of which defensive tackle or which EDGE is dominating for the 49ers this week, but last week you would be hard pressed to miss Nick Bosa doing his best impersonation of his brother getting a sack every other play.

This week it was Dee Ford screaming off the edge with two sacks, reminding everyone that the Kansas City Chiefs decided that they would let all of their All-Pro defensive talent go for…reasons?

Cons: Every week I keep thinking, oh this is the week that Jimmy Garoppolo is going to remind everyone that he is good. And then every week I come away underwhelmed with the results.

Despite having a great offensive coach and some talented weapons, he seems to do just enough to avoid criticism week in and week out. Having the 49ers 2nd overall despite that is a testament to how much fun their running game and defense is to watch.
