NFL Power Rankings Week 7: Titans collapse and bench Marcus Mariota

6. team. 50. . . Previous: 10th. Detroit Lions

Pros: I normally don’t bump up teams that don’t play, but there were teams in the top-6 that just didn’t deserve to be there and looking back it looks like the Lions were the last team to play the real Kansas City Chiefs and they should have won that game.

Cons: I am probably too high on the Lions, but hear me out. If the Lions can come in and win against the Green Bay Packers who they have been preparing for through their BYE week, they get the Vikings, Giants, Raiders, and Bears on the schedule.

If this team is who I think they can be, then they will play some boring games and win some boring games and come out the other side as 5-2-1 which feels worthy of a top-6 ranking in my book.
