2. Logan Ryan‘s All Pro projection

If you live in Nashville or if you have been paying attention to the Tennessee Titans outstanding defense, you may have noticed Logan Ryan.

Ryan has been on an absolute tear this season and he and Kevin Byard are unquestionably eh most important players back there on defense. And as much as I love and respect Kevin Byard, Ryan’s season right now is in a league of its own.

If Ryan can keep this pace, he is projected to have this statline for 2019:

96 tackles, 20 PBUs, 7 interceptions, 8 sacks, 13 QB hits

No player has ever had a season with 5+ interceptions AND 8+ sacks.

Let’s say that his performance drops off a little bit and he only ended up with 5 INTs and 5 sacks. Since 2000, only three players have done that:

Lavonte David in 2013 (7 sacks, 5 INTs)

Rodney Harrison in 2000 (6 sacks, 6 INTs)

Brian Urlacher in 2007 (5 sacks, 5 INTs)

That is some incredible company to be in when you think about an all-time great season. Ryan has been outstanding on and off the field and he may end up being the best player to leave the New England Patriots in the Bill Belichick era without being traded.
