5. Derrick Henry‘s quiet dominance

Arthur Smith seems to want to run an offense that spends most of its time on the ground rather than attacking through the air. However, that hasn’t stopped him from limiting the impact of the Titans best running back Derrick Henry.

You wouldn’t know it because it seems like every other play Smith is subbing in Dion Lewis, but look at where Henry ranks in key categories:

-First downs: T-3rd with Ezekiel Elliot

-Touchdowns: T-6th

-Rushing yards: 5th among RBs with less than 100 touches, ahead of Alvin Kamara, Elliot, Aaron Jones, Todd Gurley, and Chris Carson.

Despite the Titans spending most of their time trying to come from behind or in close games, Henry has managed to be very productive. Even more impressive is that he is doing this despite Dion Lewis playing 42% of the snaps.

If the Titans ever got serious about making Henry a featured back, imagine just how good he could be.
