Practice squad call ups
Mike Herndon did a great job reminding everyone that the Titans do actually have some UDFAs they like on the practice squad waiting for a shot:
Roberson was the UDFA from Sam Houston State and Bledsoe was from Oklahoma. Both were well thought of in the preseason though neither really showed much in the games.
Another potential option is Jamal Davis II who was added to the practice squad just a week ago. Davis had a promising career at Akron and before the 2019 NFL Draft, Dane Bruglar gave him a late Day 3 grade and summarized him like this:
"Overall, Davis relies on his initial quickness and bend to run the hoop, but the absence of power and know-how currently limits his impact potential, projecting as a developmental stand-up linebacker in a 3-4 scheme."
So those three are all certainly good options to keep an eye on as the Titans try to figure out the easiest transition going forward into a game this weekend against the Denver Broncos.
