Scheme adjustment over new additions

I don’t know how much I like the Tennessee Titans 3 DL package, especially when the backups are in because it exposes some pass rush issues that the second unit has. However, if we are talking about the easiest solution to the problem then this is it.

Instead of bringing anyone up or in, the Titans could elect to keep Jurrell Casey, Daquan Jones, Isaiah Mack, Brent Urban, Matt Dickerson, and Austin Johnson all active.

I don’t believe that has happened all season, but it would give them bodies on the front line and I can see where Pees and Vrabel could fit Brent Urban or Jurrell Casey outside opposite Landry in a “round hole, square peg situation”.

Another change the Titans could make would be to line up Rashaan Evans at EDGE where he played in college, and bring Wesley Woodyard or Amani Hooker on the field to replace him in passing situations.

The Titans have a well constructed defense with a coaching staff that understands how to use their players, so I have confidence that they will figure out a good way to attack using what they have.
