Winner: Kevin Byard

Like most days, today Kevin Byard just seemed to show up consistently. His interception turned into the only points of the day for the Tennessee Titans and the defensive backs did an excellent job communicating throughout the day.

On a day where the crowd noise died out easily for the Titans fans, and the Buffalo Bills fans seem to outnumber Tennessee’s crowd 2:1 the defense thrived anyway and continued to keep the game close despite the best effort of Santos to guarantee the under.

Some of that was Byard and a lot of that was thanks to other defenders including Rashaan Evans and Jayon Brown who had great days as well.

Think of this as a catch all praising the non pass rushers on the roster for their cohesion and communication today. The guys that the Titans paid money too from their own team have looked great which helps mask the free agency additions who have ranged from underwhelming to horrifying.
