Loser: Derrick Henry

Let me be clear, there is nothing about what Derrick Henry is doing on the field that is hurting his stock. The Titans desperately need to feed him the ball.

The problem is that the coaching staff clearly thinks he is a liability in the passing game and that is cutting his snaps in half. Tennessee’s biggest mismatch on offense is being left on the sidelines on half the plays.

I know he can’t catch the ball consistently, but neither can Dion Lewis. I don’t know what Lewis gives you or what you couldn’t get from a running back in free agency, but they want something from him that they aren’t getting.

Despite this experiment blowing up in the staff’s faces over and over again, they refuse to adapt or adjust. If they haven’t done it by now then they probably aren’t going to do it and that means that in a contract year the Titans are asking their best running back to want a reason not to come back to Tennessee in the offseason.
