Winner: Harold Landry

Harold Landry ended yet another good performance with a sack and two tackles for loss on the day.

Landry is quietly becoming a hybrid player in this offense whose responsibilities only include rushing the passer on certain occasions.

More often than not you can find Landry off the line of scrimmage or pressing tight ends to prevent free releases, very rarely do you see him line up wide and rush the passer with no other responsibilities or without being asked to stunt inside.

Right now Landry is on pace for this season:

Projected: 71 tackles, 13 sacks, 20 QB hits, 20 TFLs.

That is a huge stat line for a guy who spends a lot of time doing the dirty work so that the rest of the defense can look good.

If you think Harold Landry isn’t everything fans hoped he would be coming out of the 2018 NFL Draft, I implore you to go find him on the film and watch what he does and tell me that he isn’t outstanding…so that I can call you a liar.
