27. Denver Broncos (1-4)

Recap: The Denver Broncos finally got over the hump for their first win of the 2019 season in Week 5 versus the Los Angeles Chargers. Denver jumped out to a 17-0 first half lead over LA, and it’s defense was able to keep Philip Rivers and Co. at bay the rest of the way en route to a 20-13 victory.

Pros: The Broncos’ defense had its best game of the 2019 season so far and finally got back on track against a dangerous opponent. Even though Joe Flacco had another poor outing, Phillip Lindsay and the Broncos rushing attack did enough to carry the offense in this one.

Cons: Flacco just isn’t playing well this season. Chalk it up to whatever you like, but the veteran signal-caller has seen better days. In reality, the Broncos aren’t going anywhere this season, so every win they come up with is only a detriment to this team’s future.

Outlook: Depending on which Tennessee Titans team shows up, the Broncos could be looking at their second straight win in Week 6. After the Titans, the Broncos schedule will get much tougher the rest of the way.
