1. New England Patriots (5-0)

Recap: I guess it’s hard to ever lose faith in a team like the New England Patriots, but fans had to at least have a moment for pause as Steven Sims Jr. busted a 65-yard touchdown run down the sideline for the game’s first score. The Pats settled in after that, Tom Brady went to work, and the touchdown was just a memory in New England’s 33-7 win.

Pros: After a bad game in Week 4 against a talented defense, Brady absolutely picked Washington apart for 348 yards and three scores. People can say what they want about Brady being a game manager, but he’s going to game manage this team to at least the AFC Championship Game in 2019.

Cons: Right now, I’m not sure there are any. The Pats’ offense is as good as ever even though Brady isn’t exactly the same guy behind center, and New England’s defense is among the league’s elite. This team can do it all on both sides of the ball.

Outlook: The Pats will host the New York Giants in Week 6. Eli Manning is no longer behind center and this isn’t the Super Bowl, so the Pats should be fine against Danny Dimes and Big Blue on Thursday night.
