31. New York Jets (0-4)

Recap: The New York Jets’ Week 5 game against the Philadelphia Eagles was never really close. Philly jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first half, which of course was too much to overcome for a Luke Falk-led Jets offense.

Pros: Sam Darnold might be back in Week 6 after he was nearly cleared for this week’s game. The Jets’ best offensive weapon, Le’Veon Bell, survived Darnold’s absence after he was the only possible means the team had to move the ball down the field.

Cons: Even if Darnold can return healthy, it’s not clear if the Jets even have a good enough offensive line to protect him. This team has started 0-4 because of the second-year pro’s unfortunate absence, and this team certainly doesn’t look good enough to climb out of such a hole even with him back.

Outlook: Things aren’t getting any easier for the Jets in Week 6, as they’ll host another talented team in the Dallas Cowboys. After that, the Jets have a meeting with the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots in Week 7. This team’s season was doomed the second Darnold got mono.
