6. Los Angeles Rams (3-2)

Recap: The Los Angeles Rams needed their defense to step up in a big way after a major letdown in Week 4, but instead Wade Phillips’ unit allowed Russell Wilson to score 30 points on it, including a late touchdown that gave Seattle the lead with just over two minutes remaining. Even with that score, the Rams had a chance to pull out the win, but Greg Zuerlein uncharacteristically missed a field goal from 44 yards out.

Pros: Cooper Kupp continues to look like a star, and Gerald Everett is emerging as a top target for Jared Goff. The Rams should have won this game despite their issues if not for a missed field goal late.

Cons: Brandin Cooks suffered a concussion that knocked him out early, Todd Gurley still hasn’t shown us anything to change the negative opinions on him, and Goff wasn’t great despite throwing for nearly 400 yards. The biggest problem is this Rams defense, which can’t seem to stop anyone right now.

Outlook: After a 3-0 start, the Rams have dropped their last two games. LA will get a divisional matchup with the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6.
