7. San Francisco 49ers (4-0)

Recap: Well, we all wondered if the San Francisco 49ers were a legit 3-0 coming into Week 5, and we got a pretty good idea that they were. San Fran didn’t just win on Monday Night Football over the Cleveland Browns, they dominated them in every sense of the word. San Fran’s D-line owned the Browns upfront, and their rushing attack made mince meat of the Browns defense.

Pros: The Niners might have the best defensive line in the game right now. Nick Bosa was finally absent from the injury report this week and came up with two sacks, and there was never an inkling of a chance for the Browns offense to do anything in this game. San Fran also has the kind of rushing attack that can carry Jimmy G. through lackluster performances.

Cons: Another game and another so-so performance from Jimmy G. The Niners seem to be solid everywhere else, but the quarterback position remains a question mark.

Outlook: The Niners will have easily their toughest test of the season next week against the Los Angeles Rams in what will be a matchup that will have huge NFC West implications. For now, the Niners look like one of the best teams in the NFL.
