8. Philadelphia Eagles (3-2)

Recap: Doug Pederson’s squad did exactly what we expected them to do against the hapless Jets. Philly absolutely annihilated New York, en route to an easy 31-6 win. The Jets have yet to beat the Eagles in 11 meetings between the two.

Pros: The Eagles have one of the very best quarterbacks in the NFL through five weeks, with Carson Wentz playing at a high level. If his receivers can stay healthy and hold onto the ball, and Jordan Howard and Miles Sanders can provide support on the ground, this offense will be extremely difficult to stop.

Cons: While we didn’t see it in this game because the Jets can’t do squat through the air, the Eagles’ secondary remains a major concern against teams who can throw the football.

Outlook: Philly will hit the road to take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. It’ll be a tough test for Wentz and Co., as the Vikings sport one of the more talented defenses in the NFL. Minny’s offense has struggled through the air in 2019, but will be coming off a bounce-back game against the New York Giants in Week 5.
