NFL Power Rankings Week 6: Titans drop after embarrassing loss to Bills
23. Cleveland Browns (2-3)
Recap: The Cleveland Browns were looking to make a statement on Monday Night Football against an undefeated team, and make a statement they did. The Browns showed they didn’t belong on the same football field as the San Francisco 49ers, who dominated them from the first snap to the last. The Browns never stood a chance.
Pros: Nick Chubb had another solid game and remains the only consistent player on the Browns’ offense. Too bad his quarterback can’t complement him.
Cons: Baker Mayfield looked atrocious again, the O-line was abysmal all night, and the Browns run defense played badly. On top of all that, the Browns simply can’t get it done in the red zone when they actually do get opportunities.
Outlook: The Browns are not who we thought they were, no matter what flashes they’ve shown this season. It’s one thing to lose, but it’s another thing to get absolutely blown out like they did against the Niners. It’s time to panic, and things aren’t getting any easier in Week 6 with a matchup against the 4-1 Seattle Seahawks.
